Writer's picture: The CrayetiveThe Crayetive

While there were foresights and warnings

Knowing how life would go

I always knew what I was expecting

Always thought I knew the flow

While It took a day for the sun to set

A season for the leaves to wither

A forecast before a storm is met

How could the way you left differ

You never bid goodbye

Never said you'd walk away

If you could've told me why

Know, I won't ask you to say

For it was a disease with no symptoms

An attack with no warnings

You left with no caution

And no assurance of endings

You placed me in the middle

Not knowing if you're gone

Would you end this riddle

Should I even hold on?

With no explanations dawning

It was never comprehended

That as the red curtain's falling

I'll never know why our story ended
